Just wanted to know what happens when they catch you... Do they actually do what they say: "Those who abuse the system by uploading pirated or illegal content will be BANNED and their information forwarded to LEGAL authorities."
all the time its just something they do to scare noobs , dont make an account in the first place all ur files will be deleted sooner or later just upload it without an account and if the file dies then it dies
hmm.. i guess the only prob is that if you create an account and someone reports on you, might affect all files. But having an acct on some sites like megaupload is pretty handy.. so.. i still use it. But as for whether it increases risk of getting in trouble, i doubt so. They can check ur ip address even if you upload anonymously rite? but i dun think they will reli bother cos there are just too many ppl doing tat to catch. N it doesnt reli concern them as long the companies dun complain. Correct me if im wrong.. cos i wouldnt wanna take unneccessary risks either.
i hate using these upload sites. i just upload and what not to my own site. no limits and no caps...for me that is...and link it to ppl i need to share it with..
the simplest form is hosting an ftp server from your house...with ur isp allowing that is..but for the average joe..these file hosting services are effective in accomplishing their task,host then remove.
