Against public skepticism that their union would not last, 30-year-old Him Law (羅仲謙) and 35-year-old Tavia Yeung (楊怡) have been dating for two years. The couple may soon be heading towards marital bliss, as reports claim that Him has successfully proposed to Tavia. When Him appeared for a promotional event in Malaysia at the end of August, he said, “I just had my 30th birthday. It will be my friend’s birthday soon, let us give my friend all our blessings.” Allegedly, the “friend” he was referring to was Tavia, and he subsequently proposed to her when he returned to Hong Kong to celebrate her birthday. An anonymous source revealed, “Him told Tavia that he knew she was a very independent woman but if she gave him the opportunity, he would give his best to look after her.
