just finished installing it... dont really notice anything different, but atleast it worked

 

so whats the perks of this sp1?

enough for me to get vista yet? lol

i said i want a win 95 era looking case, slap a quad core and relevant components inside of that case, so people dont realize its a quad core. lol

 

lol, wats the point of doing that dann. also, wats new in the sp1 vista update? anything in there thats worth me getting?

 

interesting improvements, i wonder if it will stop the blue screen of death from coming up cos i sometimes get a blue screen and have to reboot. funny thing is, i hardly ever have a blue screen on my windows xp operating system whereas the vista seems to be a lot more common. having sed that it still doesn't happen much.

 

vista has never crashed on me once, its a resource hog true, but its also very stable. as far as im concerned its a great OS and all the haters can suck my willy

also, i just uploaded some photos from my camera... where they used to take like 3 minutes to move into a folder, it was now instantaneous. very happy about that performance fix

 

u've been lucky then, i've had a few blue screens though it isn't very often.

 

is this the final release? im not very up to date

 

its not the official release, but its just about finished i think.

Isn't the official release coming out in early April?? Or sometime around?

I don't wany to upgrade yet, cause I've been reading about different people's experiences with drivers and not installing properly.

 

im gonna wait until the final release is out before i get it then

 

ye me too, don't rele trust until the final one comes out. that way hopefully all the bugs and stuff will be fixed.

lol heard that there was mad buggs on the first released vista sp1 so wasnt sure to dl it yet till things are confirmed
