Wednesday July 23, 2008 Hong Kong Vincy Chan (泳兒) was admitted to hospital last weekend suffering from high fever. After resting for four days, she was discharged today and left hospital wearing a mask and accompanied by her assistant. Asked how she was feeling, Vincy said that she was suffering from a severe throat infection that had left her with a severe cough and fever. Her voice was still very hoarse and she said that she will be spending a few more days resting at home. Vincy's mother had spent time at the hospital keeping her company during her stay, but she had experienced a difficult time when another woman in the ward was coughing quite severely but refused to wear a mask and insisted on turning up the air conditioning. She said that patients in hospital should be more considerate for others. After several days in hospital, Vincy said that she has lost some weight. Asked if she has also lost out on work, she said that she will catch up and was thankful to her friends and colleagues for their support. credits: batgwa.
