Since Virginia Lok (樂易玲) became executive director at Shaw Brothers, she has managed to convince many of her former managed artists to sign with the studio due to its more flexible contract. Some of whom include TVB’s leading artistes Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Selena Lee (李施嬅) and Rosina Lam (林夏薇). Following in their footsteps is Vincent Wong (王浩信) and Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), the transition to Shaw Studios was low key as not many was aware until their profiles suddenly appeared on the studio artist rosters on their website. After appearing in Al Cappuccino -《反黑路人甲》and soon to be broadcast Legal Mavericks 2 -《踩過界II》, Vincent's popularity has remained high however his departure may affect his chance of winning this year's TV king, leaving the throne potentially open for Raymond Lam's (林峯) comeback. Whilst Benjamin has also been given a lot main opportunities and due to appear in Line Walker 3 -《使徒行者 3》, it is somewhat surprising to hear of his leaving. Nonetheless, it seems like Vincent and Benjamin have plans to conquer the mainland market too with more movie and drama opportunities broadening their experience.
