Viet People = Addictive Gamblers?

Who believes this stereotyping?



I know i do. Partial because I'm viet and I like gambling and I have many, many many, many viet firends who like to gamble

 

I'm chinese and I like to gamble sometimes. Look at God of Gambler, he's chinese too. I don't think there's a stereotype that says viet people are addictive gamblers.

well my dad is viet and my mum is even more addictive than he is. My mum is from HK. lol

i don't know about that. but I have a few VN friends that gambles till late at night on WEEKDAYS!

 

i think this stereotype is just effing stupid.

just because ones got friends that like to gamble doesnt mean every vietnamese people like to gamble. youre just hanging out with a gambling clique.

and plus.. i dont gamble, and i know lots of viets who HATE gambling.

i don't believe in stereotyping but when I think about it...about 95% of the Vietnamese people I know gamble a lot...it's like they can gamble on everything from casino to sports to a simple lottery games...

Sometimes it's harmless...but sometimes they can get pretty addicted

 

well.... of course all stereotype are not 100% correct. theres always exceptions. but relatively most vietnamese people gamble

for your information, i have NEVER been accused of being picked on for not gambling. that has got to be the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard..

in fact, just so you know, people envy and give me the greatest respect because i dont succumb to gambling addictions like the other gamblers. thus, i still have my big home, my great car, and fine cuisine food on my table everyday..

you'll get picked on for not being like others... LOL

yes i do gamble, but rarely. i put 10 bucks on the table, and when its gone, i dont stay. i leave. thats discipline.

i do gamble for fun, but not as an addiction.

and according to the topic, its addiction lol

so either way, i dont fall under addictive gambler. i fall under the group of people who know when to stop and save their money.
