personally from wat i know/heard, usana has been out for ages, many many many years already. essentially its more of those pyramid schemes
i don't find that their stuff has any benefits compared to all the stuff already out there. its just hell expensive since its supposedly been endorsed by some doctor
doctors report doesn't mean much, since u can get any doctor to sign saying this is good given that he gets a share in profits....

    just my 2c
pyramid schemes never work, unless ur in early

my sisters baby had some skin problems, but after having some of usana's vitamins called proflavanol 90, her skin has improved dramatically after a few weeks. I can testify this myself.

a lot of the vitamins' use are for preventave measures. There are many many many kinds of vitamins that they supply. They cover many different ailments or sicknesses. Some have claimed they can help in reducing or preventing baldness. All there products a meant to be all natural. They even have toothpaste, and other cosmetic products. It's pretty holistic. So u could just use their products solely if you find that they work for you.

yeh they do use a pyramid scheme. you would be interested in it if you tried the vitamins and they have worked and you want to share the benefits with others or /and offset some of the costs of using the vitamins for yourself. You don't have to participate in the schemes if you just want to order some for yourself as just a consumer.

well if it works then fine

but im sure u could pay half the price and be just as effective
regardless with anyone, u only need to find out wat they are lacking and supplement it, and theres heaps of supplements available
all u really need is just to identify it and address it...

    eg panadol/panadeine etc
    main ingredient paracetamol
    thats all ur really after

    same applies with vitamins

i don't mind drug companies promoting products etc
but with usana, its more than just that
using a pyramid scheme to promote products? forcing ppl to join up memebership and to sell certain amounts of products? randomly knocking on ppls door in the middle of the nite to promote product?

with any product/company that does that
i don't care how good it is, i'd never use it and forever will bag the crap out of them

plus i've studied in that field, and all the "marketing" stuff is just standard bs

i heard of them... apparently their ad says that they are more effective than even blackmores n stuff...
but still i believe if u r having a balance diet.. u dont really need vitamins
    ;)

pyramid scheme products to my knowledge are never a total bust. their products do work, but sometimes geting customer service can be difficult and you could probably find a cheaper alternative.

and vitimins are good, your body will get rid of excess by itself as long as it's a reasonable amount
