Unlocking Iphone

have anyone here used ziphone program to unlock their iphone?
if you have is it reliable and does it mess up your phone
also i currently have the iphone running on version 1.1.2
do i need to update it to version 1.1.4???-huh

Ziphone is the best tool. Unlocked like 50 iphones with it and never had a problem. You can update to 1.1.4 and unlock it after.

 

do you know how i can update it to v1.1.4?

 

use itunes and check auto update. then connect iphone to itunes.

Heres a step to step tutorial on how to use Ziphone software.

1. DL software from http://www.downloadziphone.org/
2. Unzip and open up Ziphone software. Should be an icon written with GUI next to it,
3. Power off phone then press power + homescreen buttons until screen shows "connect cable to PC".
4. Connect to PC and click Do it all. Software will run and you will see algorithms running on iphone screen. Process takes about 5 min.

These steps will work from version 1.02 to 1.1.4 (updated firmware not OTB ones). You can update your Iphone software to 1.1.4 via itunes.

I cannot STRESS this point enough: Remove auto update check marks from Itunes if you dont want your phone to be RELOCKED.

Please note that any tampering with unlocking software will void the manufactory warranty. Do at your own risks. :0

Method is fool proof as i have done more than i can count. Should there be any problems, feel free to PM and ill try to help as much as i can.

sorry now i got another problem, i dont no why i cant seem to connect
the iphone to my pc, i can see the "Apple iPhone" part in my computer
but when i click on i tunes i can't find iphone does anyone know why???

have u got the newest version of itunes cos it should detect it on the pc.

@wind 2K, yes i did do a shoutout. mine sounded crap compared to ur voice. u also had like music and stuff. lol. mine didn't.

 

yea i just downloaded the latest itunes
and yet it cant find the iphone...

 

Power on Iphone normally then connect to itunes. This should make it recognize. When it does, and that everything loads up, unplug iphone and turn off itunes. Follow procedure above to unlock and you are all set.

@ Knoc. Yea, theres so many ways, i still remember like 3-4 weeks ago, takes like a good 2 hrs now, its like a 5 min job. Dont know why ppl still crazy about iphone.
