    Synopsis:
    社會不斷向前邁進，香港作為國際大都會，新舊交替地發展亦無可避免，但這是否代表香港的傳統要被新時代、新基建所取代或淘汰？
    長洲太平清醮、大坑舞火龍、大澳端午龍舟遊涌、盂蘭勝會等，是吸引觀光旅客的亮眼風俗，除此之外，還有許多道地習俗及極具欣賞價值的傳統工藝。去年(2014)香港政府公布了本港首份非物質文化遺產清單並多達480項，我們可以怎樣把這些珍貴的道地文化承傳下去？
    節目《香港本色》由陳永業聲音導航，資訊與趣味並重，希望喚起大家對香港傳統文化的注意，明白到保育、傳承對傳統風俗及延續工藝的重要性，讓每位香港人一起分享這些珍貴的文化遺產。
    每集節目會以添丁、發財、祭祖、籌神、治病、驅邪、殯葬等不同題目作主題，內容涵括不少平常難得一睹、媒體亦鮮有介紹的風俗及工藝，如傳統圍村添丁點燈儀式、春秋二祭食山頭、碩果僅存製香工場、大龍鳳木雕藝術等，一起在電視熒幕前為歷史作見證，重新出發，多角度了解我們所身處的香港。

    香港，由過去的一條小漁村，經歷過大大小小的變遷，轉變成現今的國際大都會。所幸的是，各種傳統風俗，在一群有心人的堅持下得以保存。2014年香港政府公布本港首份非物質文化遺產清單，數量多達480項。要納入名單之內，是有何準則，又包含甚麼類別？
    香港科技大學華南研究中心主任廖迪生教授聯同研究團隊，在過去3年內進行超過800個項目的調查工作，希望透過參與、觀察、訪問等記錄各項傳統文化。今集節目，廖教授帶你走進元朗廈村鄉，了解這條鄧氏圍村的風俗！
    每當廈村鄉有喜慶事，鄧氏宗祠均會人山人海，舉行點燈儀式。除此之外，「盆菜宴」、「食山頭」等均是圍村習俗，當中包括着甚麼意義？另外，廈村鄉亦有「天后誕」、十年一度「太平清醮」等傳統活動，這與人所共知的長洲太平清醮有何相異之處？
    不少非物質文化遺產，只是靠口耳相傳，並沒有文字記載，研究團隊亦要想盡辦法才能找到傳人。名列清單的傳統歌曲嘆歌，並沒有特定歌詞，全靠歌者即興「嘆」出，幾位嘆歌傳人會怎樣令這個傳統流傳後世？
    縱使時代不斷轉變，但「擇個好日」的想法依然根深柢固，百無禁忌的年輕一輩亦不例外，而「通勝」便是擇日的好幫手！中國曆法專家蔡伯勵會以簡單易明的方法，教授大家閱讀通勝的方法。而生於通勝世家的蔡興華，何以會對曆法產生興趣，決定繼承父業？

    中國人講究「好意頭」，不同的工藝品有不同的寓意，如黃金象徵富貴吉祥、玉石意味吉祥如意、牙雕能凸顯身份顯赫。無奈金雕、玉雕、牙雕等名列本港首份非物質文化遺產清單的傳統工藝，已成夕陽行業，一班手藝非凡的老師傅，如何為這些傳統工藝「守尾門」？
    昔日要成為打金學徒，比向銀行貸款還要難！幾乎是最後一代的全面打金師師傅胡文楷，面對行業沒落，何以不願收徒，繼續傳承這門手藝？一塊金磚，由熔金到打磨，每一個步驟都要一絲不苟，胡師傅卻笑指，學習過「批、鑲、卓、鑿」四種基本功經已滿師，但要怎樣才能成為獨當一面的師傅？
    香港有着「世界翡翠中心」的美譽，而油麻地玉器市場，是深受外地遊客歡迎的旅遊熱點。昔日，玉器市場可謂興旺得水洩不通，滿街都是隨意擺放的地攤，為免被競爭對手知道玉器價錢，買賣雙方會以甚麼方法進行報價？所謂「玉不琢不成器」，香港玉器商會會長羅志光感受最深，一塊數百元的石頭，是如何變成價值十萬的飾品？
    1989年，國際實施象牙禁運，在缺乏原材料的情況下，歷史久遠的牙雕業面臨重大衝擊，不少老師傅被迫轉行，但牙雕藝術家朱忠盛依然堅持發展。出自他手的作品享譽國際，當中更融入中國數千年的建築技巧，令人嘆為觀止。朱師傅亦毫不吝嗇，講解牙雕的製作過程，讓你大開眼界。

    穿上象徵純潔的白色婚紗舉行婚禮，是不少香港女生自幼的夢想，但香港人仍保留着穿裙褂出門傳統，除了寓意婚後兒女成群、龍鳳「情長」，亦是對長輩的尊重、對保留傳統的支持。儘管如此，現要找一個懂得做裙褂的老師傅已買少見少。
    中式傳統婚服及製作技藝名列於本港首份非物質文化遺產清單之中。「GiGi姐」黃淑儀到訪一間裙褂老字號，向黃國興師傅請教與裙褂有關的知識，並見識由他親手製作的新款裙褂。原來，現今主流的大紅裙褂，並非傳統嫁衣，反而俗稱為「奶奶褂」的黑褂紅裙才是正統？
    九十年代開始，香港興起西式婚宴熱潮，令業界生意一蹶不振。但傳統繡莊必定要創新求變才能繼續生存？繡莊老闆張吳愛蘭卻在逆境中堅持傳統，保留傳統裙褂獨有的味道。而楊千嬅竟成為傳統裙褂老字號的救星？
    每逢喜宴，大家都會為禮金數字傷腦筋，但原來昔日最好的「人情」之禮，名叫「喜帳」。喜帳所用到的剪紙技術，亦是非物質文化遺產之一。喜帳店老闆李展文會即席表演白手剪紙，令人驚嘆不已！節目亦會與你欣賞一班長輩演唱的傳統嫁歌，細味當中的歌詞。

    Episode 04: 傳統工藝迎新年 (TVBOXNOW Version Links)

    中國人愛「好意頭」，每年的農曆新年均會使用不同的傳統裝飾品，為家中添上新年氣氛同時，亦可以體現香港的本土特色。揮春、剪紙等傳統工藝，亦名列於本港首份非物質文化遺產清單之中。
    大時大節或喜慶日子，中國人都喜愛張貼揮春，寓意平安吉祥。書法家「華戈」馮兆華，在旺角擺攤檔30年，見證着揮春的興衰。隨着科技進步，傳統由人手書寫的揮春，逐漸被電腦打印取代，但華戈依然堅持為市民即席揮毫。原來，華戈曾為不少商店、電影、廣告等題字，你認得到哪些是華戈的手筆嗎？
    同樣在新春大受歡迎的剪紙裝飾，原來隱藏着不少奧妙之處。來自陝西的剪紙藝術家李云俠，示範剪一隻羊時，何以會多剪一個風車作花紋？而陝西的「一剪二繡三長相」又是甚麼意思？為了推廣剪紙藝術，李云俠曾舉辦剪紙工作坊及海外展覽，為傳承這份傳統工藝盡一分力。
    除了賀年裝飾，亦有一些傳統的過年美食被列入非物質文化遺產清單，如汕尾人的「菜茶」，以芹菜、菠菜、荷蘭豆、蝦米、魷魚絲等炒好的材料加上綠茶炮製而成，風味十足。香港廣東汕尾市同鄉總會會長詳細講解與菜茶有關的歷史。

    Episode 12: 手下留情 (TVBOXNOW Version Links)

    藝術無處不在，縱使一塊石頭、一塊木頭，甚至一條魚，亦能成為獨當一面的藝術品。「鰽白魚骨裝飾製作技藝」、「木雕刻技藝」和「墓碑雕刻技藝」同名列於本港首份非物質文化遺產清單之中，這些傳統工藝的老師傅眼見行業由盛轉衰，亦不禁無奈嘆息。
    馮啟仁，人稱「魚骨佬」的民間工藝家，憑昔日祖父的口頭傳述，摸索到如何把「魚骨變鳳凰」！他親身示範如何收集適合的魚骨作為材料，逐一講解各個部件的形態。大家也可以預備一條鰽白魚和軟毛牙刷，隨馮先生學習，砌出獨一無二的魚骨工藝品！另外，甚麼魚的頭骨能砌出一隻栩栩如生的仙鶴？
    王燮祥，為碩果僅存的神佛像工藝師，節目與你一同直擊他如何把一塊木頭製成一尊佛像。從事神像雕刻數十載，王師傅的店舖亦搬到租金較便宜的樓上店，生意亦變得疏落。所幸的是，王師傅三位兒子亦有興趣加入神像雕刻的行列，他們對這份工作的前景，有何看法？
    蕭海波，八十年代加入打石行列，何以他會選擇墓碑雕刻這門工作？他亦會講述雕刻字體的正確次序，以確保字體不會在雕刻過程中變形。而在石廠負責人劉海心目中，墓碑雕刻有何藝術發揮空間？
