Many of the skyscrapers and famous landmarks that overlook the harbour feature enormous animated illuminations that light up the night sky. Take a stroll around Hong Kong Island and Kowloon and witness the sparkling malls and festively-themed streets. To see the seasonal illuminations there are several superb vantage points around Victoria Harbour. On Hong Kong Island, the views from Wan Chai are quite incredible especially from around the Golden Bauhinia Square statue in front of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. If you're in Kowloon, head to the Avenue of Stars for wonderful panoramic views back across the harbour. For something a little different, why not try a harbour cruise or open-top bus tour to get a variety of perspectives.
