Damn London's opening and closing ceremony are fucking SUCKS, rubbish, so lame compared to Beijing's 2008. So disappointed, London spent millions to build Olympic stadium, but China spent Billions to build that Bird's Nest stadium. LOL.
why would you even compare it to Beijing? China's bird nest is only fraction part of their surplus while London Olympics are paid through taxes. Being UK citizen and for someone to call our Olympics suck, rubbish and lame is just so rude, heartbreaking and disrespectful.
I would give a for closing...was that some concerts...too many singer and too much singing. "A Symphony of British Music" Wat?? :nuts: I felt like the closing ceremony is much much better than the opening. The London 2012 closing ceremony delivered a wonderful, captivating musical show to the world with famous British performers/artists. It was a huge concert party with music blast from the past and present...A party let you dance into next host city, Rio -rockon
For Queen Jubilee is fine... no way for an Olympics Closing...people want to see like what in China...or even Seoul...cultural...more actions...less with songs. This is a harmonious event...not a rock concert.
More actions, cultural stuff? That maybe more belong to the Opening imo, and the Closing ought to be more relaxed than the Opening ceremonies. For Closing I think its time for celebration of last few week of extraordinary performances for the Game... Also, please keep in mind this the 3rd time London is hosting an Olympics game IIRC, and who desnt know about London anyway..lol! Dont give me wrong, I do still remember Beijing opening ceremony vividly. There's no doubt Beijing Olympics opening is a big shoe to fill, and it sets the bar so high that I think no country will ever top it off in any distant future. SO, taken away the credit for London hosting another glorious Game at 'budget' compare to Beijing is nonsense*. *Ok, I am done with this nonsense!!
The only singing that was meaningful and suitable the whole night was John Lennon and Imagine...the rest are really rubbish!!!
