TVB actors recently expressed their support for the company in its decision to forgo the annual lighting ceremony and Sales Representation event this year.

As reported on On CC, Kenneth Ma, who spoke to the media about TVB's decision to hold a show called "Sing Well Hong Kong" in replacement of the yearly November event, stated that he understood the situation in Hong Kong at the moment.

"Changing [the lighting ceremony] to an event that would inspire Hong Kong public is a good call on the company's part. As an artiste, I will wait for further notice from the station," he said.

As for Ruco Chan, the actor said that he already saw the success of the Sing Hong Kong Concert earlier this month, and would continue to support TVB's decision.

On the other hand, Mandy Wong stated that she hasn't received any notice about the changes.

"But I am in favour of the company's decision. The most important thing is for everyone to be happy," she said.
