i did a search and didn't find a topic on this, so i'll give it a shot I was wondering if there was any automated or convenient way to get accurate translations of Chinese song lyrics into comprehendable English? Using websites like altavista's babelfish always give translations that make no sense. For example, i was looking for the translation to 衛蘭-如水, but all i got from the website was gibberish. Thanks for the help guys
^i find google translation to be one of the most comprehensible translators for chinese, but it still has its faults. there are no automatic translators that will give you what you want, only humans can give you a decent translation
google translater is pretty good indeed. though ye no translator is perfect. humans are the best and especially with some song names. some song names have a different meaning to the actual translation due to its phrase.
hrmm...ill try google translator out. also, i found a couple of lyric websites for chinese songs, but nothing that has a updated list of canto songs translated into english. it came with a canto-english translator but it only did phrases :/ Thanks though guys!

with song lyrics, a computer translator will never be correct and a good lot of the time be completely wrong, this is because, especially in canto lyrics, some phrases have different meanings than the direct translations of the characters. The best way to get the english lyrics is ask a canto speaking friend to do it for you
