When solving one of his cases, Mok meets insurance agent Wai (Ada Choi). She mistakes him for a pervert who has been photographing women in public toilets, leading to some hilarious misunderstandings. Soon after that case is solved, Wai is accused of shoplifting and then becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her boss. Mok proves her innocence in both cases, but at first she still can't stand him. Later they become friends, but there is still conflict between them because Mok is always broke, so when they go out Wai has to pay. Wai's job is not easy and Romeo (Marco Ngai), the leader of a rival insurance team, makes it a lot harder. Romeo leads the men's team and Wai leads the women's team, and the competition between the men and women never ends. There is constant gossip in the office, which is often overheard by the person being gossiped about. Wai and Mok meet Jim (Michael Tong), a fitness trainer, who is involved in several cases. Jim falls in love with Wai, but Wai likes Mok instead. There are a lot of funny scenes and the cases are always different. English Title: To Catch The Uncatchable Chinese Title: 棟篤神探 Episodes: 25 Episodes Synopsis: Mok Tok Dok is a smart, clever, funny, and lazy individual who happens to be a detective that only has one weakness, he suffers from asthma. Vivian Lee is a smart, headstrong, unlucky, and paranoid insurance agent that is ashamed of her age, which is 29. From the moment they met, they hated each other and argued every time they saw each other. Vivi blames Mok Tok Dok for her unluckiness because she always happens to around a murder when it happens. Of course, fate kept making them meet again so they build a strong relationship after many crimes (which Vivi seemed to be always involved with). Eventually, Mok Tok Dok and Vivi fall in love, but they face many problems along the way. For example, Jim is their gym trainer at the fitness center. He is nice, clueless, and dumb. He's in love with Vivi, which causes many misunderstandings and trouble for the couple. Also, there is Romeo, an insurance agent who is Vivi's arch nemesis. They are always competing with each other and causes Vivi much stress. Along the way, there are many minor characters like Mok Tok Dok's mom; his police friends at the station (Vivi convinces them to buy insurance after a certain crime), and Vivi's co-workers who talk behind other's back more than the characters in Virtues of Harmony. This 25-episode series is full of misunderstandings, coincidences, murder, humor, and love at first sight between the 2 main characters. I'm also having trouble downloading the odd numbers for this series. 1,3,5,7,9 ect... doesn't seem to work.
