Wisdom is not GRANTED, it's learned. Otherwise, every single person who BELIEVE in the hypothetical God would be wise (which OBVIOUSLY is NOT true).

For a Christian, who believes in a God, receives the wisedom, courage, and serenity only through His Words.

However, it is also for the Christian that has received the wisedom, courage, and serenity to practice it -- for comprehension without action is no comprehension at all.

I wonder why God didn't grant some Christians the serenity to accept there are people different than them (non-believers) therefore stop preaching and trying to convert, the courage to change their narrow ways of thinking, and the wisdom to look beyond their own comfort zone, be tolerant to others, not be ignorant and believe that they are superior?!

i read this story the other day when i was supposed to ask my lecturer for advice regarding my final year project...it was pasted on my lecturer's window glass... i was very stressed at that time because deadline was approaching and i still had a lot to catch up...but this story helped me loosen up...

^ Guess the moral of the story is that there is always a better day?

hrm i try not to think of anything as positive or negative. Things are the way they are instead of thinking the glass is half full or half empty. If you look at it from another perspective that glass might be twice as big as it neds to be =]

I always think about the worse things when something happends..maybe because i want to prepare myself so in case things really gone bad at least i can face them camly

when something bad happens i usually just ignore it for a few seconds then start to think of some way to turn it into something positive or at least one positive outcome out of it or if that don't work then i'll try to forget about it.
