I was born with naturally thin hair, and I don't like it one bit because it gets tangled easily, and in hot weather you can't really see the individual strands (because you know, some are "stuck" together). I want to add volume to my hair, but I don't know if it's possible to change something you were naturally born with. So I was wondering if you could answer some questions: 1) Any specific shampoo/conditioner suggestions? 2) Would daily habits help, and if so, what?
the "big and sexy line" hair care line specializes in volumizing hair. before u blow dry ur hair, put a volumizing mousse into it and blowdry ur hair upside down.
Do I have to apply volumizing mousse or will blow-drying it upside down alone work? But anyway, thanks.
Can't you use gel and then blow drying it to give volume with a cylinder brush to give it volume? I do that. Or you can use a volumnizing shampoo from your local 24 hr drugstore
See, but the thing is some products don't show obvious results even if they claim to add volume to your hair. I guess I'll use mousse/gel, but I was looking for a more natural way of increasing my hair's volume. Something like habits, rather than using certain products.
Well you need to have a healthy diet in that case... And mind you, to have healthy, beautiful hair, it doesn't just take one night to grow.. You have to keep to it Water: One-fourth of the weight, of a strand of hair, is made up of water. Water makes your hair supple and soft therefore you should have enough water. Do not wait till you are thirsty keep drinking water. If you thirsty it means that you have lost water and your body is asking you to replenish the loss. Water keeps your hair silky and shiny as well. Protein: A diet for healthy hair should be rich in protein as hair consists of primarily protein. Proteins will give your hair more strength and will prevent it from breaking and splitting. Eat protein rich foods like fish, meat, milk, cheese and cereals. Minerals: A variety of minerals are important for healthy hair. Iron carries oxygen to the hair. Insufficient iron will starve the hair follicles of oxygen. Include red meat and dark green vegetable in your diet. Zinc prevents hair loss. Meat and seafood have a high content of zinc. To improve the natural color of your hair, incorporate copper in your diet. Fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds, meat and liver are high in copper. Vitamins: You must ensure that you diet has all the necessary vitamins that help in the growth of healthy hair. Vitamin A makes your scalp healthy and is good for your skin as well. It is found in vegetables especially carrots. Vitamin B and C for hair growth and hair color. Include these vitamins in your diet will ensure that your hair is healthy and does not split. Eat fruits, vegetables, cereals, eggs, milk and bread. Exercise: Along with a healthy hair diet it is important that you exercise properly as it will ensure that there is proper blood flow to your scalp and will help in the growth of hair.
to be honest i wouldnt recommend blow drying ur hair... my hair is breaking and damaged because i blow dried my hair too often.... It became unhealthy because of that, perming and also dying... I might get another perm once before i leave sydney and after 2 months cut it really short so my hair can become healthy again :( So i'd suggest if u wanna have healthy and thick hair.... dont blow dry, dont dye and no perm.... or else ur hair will break and become even more thin...at least thats my experience.... but.....its impossible i guess.... I guess they do have special shampoo for thin hair but not sure if it will work... Oh and btw...try to avoid hairspray... thats bad for ur hair too...I only use hairspray once or twice a month... U should use mousse or gumwax....
put volumizer in ur damp hair and blow dry upside down. I use a 2" large ceramic barrel brush and it works very well I get nice volume even without volumizer. (I don't have flat hair mind you, so I would suggest trying that with volumizer)
i use pantene they have one series where you can have thicker hair when you use it hahaha i used it and my hair became thicker it actually works
i have the opposite lol, well i think it natural and there isn't much you can do other then prob put some chemicals in it. i heard people go to vietnam and doing that lolo
maybe your going bald. thin hair is the first sign of baldness. but if you still are looking for volume, you should try Necal Shampoo. because i do hairstyling and ive seen alot of my people use it and they always seemed satisfied, and its easier to style if they want too x]
lol Use Hair Cream to make hair Grow Faster and thicker lol, but when u put it on its like , whipped cream on ur head ^^
the more artificial hair products you apply to your head/hair is just gonna do more damage, possibly leading to more "hair loss". your hair can't be THAT thin...so maybe just leave it the natural way it is ?
lol besides what wrong wiht being Bald, u never seen Bald guys that look Hot?lol or u culd wear a cap like justin lo
well you can use henna..thats a natural way too dye your hair..it wont be too damaging your hair.. afterwards your hair actually feels thicker..because every hair has imbedded the color in each strenght.. so it feels and looks thicker..but dont do it too often..just couple months.. the best is too try it first on a piece of your hair.. then you got and a nice and shiny color and thicker hair too ps..i like bald..no need too handle/take care anymore YAY
