Sunday December 02, 2007 Hong Kong Tavia Yeung (楊怡), Christine Ng (伍詠薇), Lai Lok Yi (黎諾懿) and Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) were among the cast members of TVB series The Building Blocks of Life <建築有情天> at a promotional event today, where they also helped out in a charity sale for the Sowers Action project, which supports China's education programme. During the sale, Tavia and Christine successfully pushed the price of a HK$20 goodie bag up to HK$500. As the show's male lead Alex Fong (方中信) was absent because of a fever, Christine and Tavia made up for this by holding up a poster of him and then Lok Yi stepped in to pose like him, raising a lot of laughs. The cast are all confident in the show's ratings and Christine believed that it should break the 33 point target because of Tavia's performance as the third party and the location filming in Chengdu and Hainan Island. Tavia revealed that she plays a mistress in the series, but in real life she has never come across this situation. However, she admitted that if she did find a good man, she would go and fight for him. Tavia added that she has finally overcome her bad luck when it comes to lucky draws because she won HK$1000 in a lucky draw on Friday. The draw took place in a celebratory party held by Heart Of Greed <溏心風暴> award winners Moses Chan (陳豪), Lee Si Kei (李司棋) and Susanna Kwan (關菊英) for the cast and crew of the show. Tavia said that Moses and Louis Yuen (阮兆祥) provided entertainment on the night by singing, but their comedy value was much higher than their singing. credits: batgwa.
