Seen from a economic point of view: 1. At least we now have a market price for the virginity of a average looking female. 2. Since it's a "trade" they both gets something from it (otherwise they wouldn't trade as the auction will either be canceled due to too low offers). 3. The price is higher then the market equlibrium (under perfect competition) because the woman is the only 1 selling virginity (at least on that auction site) meaning she has the monopol position. 4. Since there's no law against you selling the virginity (otherwise she be arrested already) others who value the money more than virginity will begin selling thier virginity which will drive the price down.

Why pay so much when you can get it for free these days anyway? Those guys who actually bid must be having fun or super desperate. Schooling is important but demeaning yourself like that to finish a degree .. uh .. what good is that? There are plenty of scholarship out there but they're competitive. She is just another dumbass who's trying to find an easy way out by selling her body. For someone who studies Women Studies as a degree, it's surely ironic to see that kind of behavior and action.
