Wednesday November 21, 2007 Hong Kong Steven Ma (馬浚偉), Tavia Yeung (楊怡), Raymond Wong (黃浩然) and Halina Tam (譚小環) were among the cast members taking part in the costume fitting for TVB's new series Salt Traders <勝雪鹽棧> (working title), which will begin filming shortly. As the series is set in the Qing dynasty, the male leads all had to shave their heads to fit their characters and Tavia, who fortunately was allowed to keep her hair, became quite excited as she checked how smooth the men's heads were and generally goofed around. This is the third occasion that Steven has had his hair shaved off for a series and he said he does not mind at all because it seems that he often has good luck when he loses his hair. He laughs that maybe he was a monk in a former life. When it was suggested that he should just keep his head shaved all the time, he said that he cannot do this because he still has to film modern series. Steven has four or five series that are planned for release next year and he hopes that this will bring him opportunities to make some money and maybe win some awards. He said that he would like to buy a duplex apartment in 2008. Asked if he would like to be a gigantic landlord like Moses Chan (陳豪), Steven said that he dare not think about it, but he will head towards this target, so that he can keep a pet dog when he has a girlfriend in the future. This is Halina's first series after returning from her wedding break and she said that after two months away, her acting bug was biting and she was itching to get back to work. Asked if she plans to have children, she said that it was not the right time and she wants to enjoy life as a couple first and she is still young, so a few more years will not make a difference. The series is set during the heyday of the salt trade in Yangzhou in the Qing Dynasty. Steven revealed that he will be playing an official in the series who investigates corruption in the salt trade by befriending the daughter of a greedy salt baron. credits: batgwa.

Steven looks good with his shaved head. 4-5 series will be released in 2008 for him. That's quite lots. Hope he can accomplish all.
