If lucas is behind the production he will have the entire skywalker ranch to do visual effects, so i know, in that sense at least it will no doubt be ahead of every other sci-fi TV Show. However, i think a star wars TV show would have to have some pretty compelling writing and characters to work. Unfortunately it looks like he is already stuck in the mentality that this has to be set between current films, and not as a prologue or anything (See after the star wars RotJ or maybe the KOTOR era)... which means NO JEDI!!! Why they would even bother doing Star Wars without jedi and sith is kinda a mystery... But I can still see a workable plot. If they can get maybe some of the writing talent that made the first two seasons of BSG so good to consult, and an all star TV cast i'd definitely get into it.
