Winner of the Best Male Mandarin Singer award at the 2005 Golden Melody Awards, Stanley Huang is credited as one of the frontrunners of hip-hop in Taiwan. Stanley was once part of the boy band L.A. Boyz, but he went solo in 2000 and has had a fruitful career since then, having collaborated with some of the hottest names in Taiwan pop scene including Join Tsai and Elva Hsiao. Recently signing a reportedly lucrative contract with Warner Music, the popular singer-songwriter is releasing his humorously titled new album "End Up Lying Down" in December 2008.
