lol yer Sony T series is over rated and priced,
lol can get the same specs on a normal camera for like 70% of the price,
    lol

  6. it looks good an all but i personally don't like my camera to be too slim i feel as if it would just slip out of my hands easier....

Canon > All Sony Crap Camera I could care less about the style of the camera if they take grainy photos. I buy a camera to take photos, not to look cool...

It's not about looking ""cool"" it's about handy.. and the T series got a thing which covers your lens and if you put it down you can take pictures.. and therefore when you're zooming the lens won't come out.. That's what i like about the sony. And the other brands nearly dont got that :p
And ye sony's products are mostly overpriced ye ;/ They look very nice but specs ye..
They just put more money in styling xD

Oh ye and i have an old sony cybershot t1 its bricked now..
Wondering if u ppl know the problem (A)
My camera suddenly only makes white pictures.. and when i am recording video.. the image is just good... If i watch back the taken photo's i see mostly white and less ofthings which i have took a picture from..

Andd dunno but the T series makes pretty noise/lowquality pics in dark rooms.. atleast on my t1 and what i've heard from friends which t-series..

    its called a sony
    it breaks...
    get a new one... lolz

plus the zoom ur referring to... its more of just "cropping" the image as opposed to "zooming"
    big diff in quality

well for a camera like this size.. without having lens out.. i guess sony is the best choice overall.. fuji or whatever brand that was just plan old suck if they don't have the lens zooming out and in as in sticking out lens... picture quality i can say it is good for a sony for day pictures but for night.. you have to adjust the right settings to get the best out of it.. for video recording.. *cough* no optical or digital zoom :(

Ye true indeed sony T series (with no lens out) produces less pic quality in dark .. but yee on the day it produces just good enough :p Atleast what i have read.. and i am not like a photo guru :p Just need a small one to make fast pictures for friends and other happenings in my studysociety xD

well isn't that like a common problem with most digital cameras these days, they get a little noise in the dark but it doesn't matter if u get a strong enough flash or u just going to print normal sized pics, it should be fine.

well it should work fine. i always hate it when u buy a product just to find that its faulty before u've even used it.

Canon cameras are much better in terms of picture quality. You can have the same amount of MP for each camera, but most of the time Canon will provide the clearer picture. I have a sony camera with 8.1 mp, and it doesn't take 1 clear picture.
