The cast of TVB’s upcoming period drama, The Day of Days <初五啟市錄>, held a promotional event for the Lunar New Year drama at Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees, a popular shrine located by the Tin Hau Temple in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The Day of Days will premiere on January 21, taking over the time slot of legal drama, Friendly Fire <法網追擊>.

Starring Sonija Kwok (郭羨妮) and Sunny Chan (陳錦鴻), The Day of Days is a comedy drama that briefly centers on the political elections of Guangzhou. The Day of Days is also Sonija’s comeback drama since giving birth to her daughter earlier last summer.

The broadcast time slot of The Day of Days will be placed during the Lunar New Year holidays. Asked if she has confidence in the ratings, Sonija happily said, “It doesn’t matter, as long as everyone has a happy viewing experience!”

The 38-year-old actress, who rose to popularity in mainland China after the broadcast of Palace <宮> in 2011, was asked if she had plans to return to mainland China in the near future to film more dramas. “I don’t know yet, but if the price is attractive and I get to see my daughter more often, I will consider it.”

Sonija and the cheerful Sunny became close friends on set. Both parents, Sonija and Sunny often shared parenting tips with each other. Sonija expressed that she may send her daughter to school overseas when she is older. If it is needed, Sonija will also move overseas with her daughter.
