I find it interesting that this is the first time a noted national and international icon, has been tainted by the idea of drug and drug dealing. So, is the PRC going to press this to the limit just to show how "fair and equal" they are, or are they going to let him walk because of his dad's status? Personally, I think they should shoot him (as he was facilitating the use by others). I think they going to let him off but he'll have to do some sort of voluntary work or community service i think that's what they call it? oh and pay a fine of some sort.
I think that would just fuel talk about a two tiered system where those who are connected get off whilst those that aren't bear the brunt of the law. Further, drugs is something that the majority of Chinese society hates given the historical context of addiction. I think they need to come down hard on him just to prove a point.
just for them to expose the story like this.. you know he's not going to be let off easy. This was pretty big news and I'm sure Jackie Chan is spending a sizable amount of money to cover this up. They'll probably say he gets some jail time.. and then let him out afterwards.

Seriously, this guy had led a pampered life as the son of a very rich and powerful man. He never had to sweat a day in his life. For this kind of soft and well cared for personality to be suddenly thrown into a Gong On interrogation cell? No doubt, he's singing a Chinese Opera. Hell, he's probably so scared he's selling out his own father along with ten generation of ancestors, LOL...
It very disappointing hear a big star's son was caught smoking Pot and it is very unfortunate it is in China but I think because of his father's connections he will get Jail time reduction at at most. Remember what happen to Nicholas Tse, he had rich parents and still got jail time. I hope jaycee bounces back after jail time and turns into a big star.
Getting caught with a fair amount of pot in China is a huge problem, he'll be doing some time in jail or court order volunteer work. Being Jackie's son can either help him or make it worst cause he's famous. China loves to make examples out of famous people.
