Are anyone here good at snowboarding? I am a beginner and I need some tips on how to stop when going down the slope full speed.

Well in Canada, you really just have to rent the snowboard (roughly around $100, lift is around $45)...
I bring my own goggles =p

But snowboarding is more of a hands on thing, I guess you can learn the basic from watching but the rest is through practicing... I learn how to switch, crave etc around 4-6 hours, just start off on a baby slope and once you get the hang of it, go to a steeper slope... You'll fall a lot but that's how you learn
