I recently just join sky and its now all installed on my new 40'Sony HD Tv 1080p and i realise that when i watch football the picture is a bit of pixel and sometimes blurs a bit around the player but when they zoom in close like replay, manager or the player the images are awsome my m8 got a normal tv and also watchin football on sky and his quality is way better much than mine is it something wrong with my setting on the TV? i've looked on some other forum and most people and recommend me buy a better scart cable dont use the on supply cos they crap and also changed the setting to RGB which i have at the moment but not much difference advice anyone? cheers
standard definition on a HD TV will always suck ass! nothing to do with settings or the cable you need to get Sky HD and then the quality should look amazing
standard def always looks terrible on HD resolutions, even if your TV has a built in upscaler its gonna look pretty bad
ye its cos of the hd tv, more noticeable on larger screens too cos not all the pixels are used and during a transmission it can seem a bit unclear compared to one on a normal tv as an hd tv has more pixels per area. but usually if u stand further back from the tv then the quality will be better, its prob cos u got a large tv and ur watching quite close to it.
if the channel is not high def the picture will not be clear also do u have a component cable or hdmi cable that will help alot...
