Hey Peeps, Ok...So I've lost a bit of weight around...and a bit more around the waist area. And now my jeans aren't a nice snuck fit anymore! I haven' lost an excessive amount of weight that my jeans are going doesn't fall off and need alteration. What i mean is they are loose-ish. Probably 1-2cm loose...Not a nice fit. Anyway, to the point... Anyone know how to shrink jeans? Ive tried washing them and then tumble drying them. Ive been excessively tumble drying them the last hour on the highest heat level. Still no good.... Also i understand that tumble drying shrinking only lasts for a couple of times then they stretch back.... I've read heard that you can sit in your jeans in a tub of water, or shower with them to allow the jeans to become completely soaked and after that allow them to dry on you for a better fit....but....no i don't think i'm going to try that unless it's a last resort lol.... I also don't know if i should just soak them in hot/warm water the whole day...coz then they will lose major colour....well i have that feeling it will so.... Taking all ideas here lol?
Dont think there's anyways to shrink jeans and would be too pricey to tailor them, so u r better off buying new ones.
I've heard about widen shoes. Don't know if it works on jeans too. But my friends told me that if you've got too small shoes then you can put some wet paper in the shoes and then wear them like a few hours... So you can try to wear in wet jeans
like people said already shrinking jeans....is a great excuse for new jeans....i used to do that to my mum when i was little...id deliberately pull my trousers up higher to make them look shrunk to get new ones hahaha -lol
I agree, that is the easiest solution to falling down jeans anyhow. Or you can go for a geeker look and get some braces that old men wear -rolleyes
LOL yeah i have a belt but since i've lost a bit of weight theres those little folds along the wasit line when u tighten it with your belt lol
y bother to shrink it? jus buy a new pair... no1 knows how to tailor a pair of jeans? my mum's an expert...
