Should rapists be castrated?

Should we punish rapists by castrating them? In this way, it would also prevent people from turning into rapists if this law is implemented. Should they be castrated to pay for their crimes that they have did?

hmmm... theoretically yes... if they really committed that crime then chop it off would b a better punishment that jailing him... but wot if it's someone innocent?? once u chopped it off u can't put it back on... where as if u jailed him u can always let him out...

n i don't think this law will stop ppl turning into rapists if it was implemented... capital punishment applies to drug dealer n murderer in a lot of countries n yet it's still happening everyday...

 

Maybe the punishment of castration would depend on the degree of the crime. It's kind of a death penalty situation. Does the person have the ability to rehabilitate or not.

 

I believe they do... like it depends on the severity of the situation... but I personally think all rapists should be castrated... and the Government should run ads about it...

This is a pretty intresting topic, but then again like someone said, what if they were inocent? I think this should apply for people with 2 or more convictions of this crime.

 

I think that rapist should have their heads blindfolded and placed in the middle of like a city square naked, and anyone can just come along and give em a good whack
