One of my friends said that he was going to sell his PS3 for $425 and I told him that I would consider buying it. It includes 2 controllers, 4 games (one of them being COD4). The PS3 is the 60 gb version. Do you think this is a good idea, or should I just go ahead and buy a new one (40gb version or 80 gb version)??? I was thinking about waiting it out for a couple of months for the price to drop; so if anyone thinks this is a good or a bad deal please give me your opinion.-sweat
i think you should buy it from your friend since its the 60gb version.. 40gb they remove the ability to play some ps2 and psx games i think.. and 4 games=about $100-$200 since games are about $60 each... 2 controller.. 1 came with system, other paid for $50 or so... and i believe price will not be dropping at all since its like the lowest already.
PS3 is doing to good for a price drop to occur any time soon. I suspect it will take a while before you see another price drop from Sony, with the success they've already gotten from the other 2 price drops.
well think again, a blu-ray player is $300-$400..., ps3 is $400-$500.. ps3 40gb $400.. 80gb $500.. so i dont think it'll be dropping anytime soon..
@runtohell121 Yeah that's what I was thinking about too. It seems like a pretty good deal. I will probably buy it this Friday.-rockon
but it doesnt include 4 games and extra controller... so the used one is good.. ps3 don't seem to die as fast as an xbox 360..
i think its a gd price but i think u should try to haggle down the price down a bit more. thats what i would do cos its 6 months old and also don't forget to check that its in perfect working order before buying it.
dam!!!! theres a ps2 with 60gb for $425?? woot!! lolz that is stupid.. everything in UK is expensive isn't it? like an ipod shuffle for $79 Euro while US is $79 USD lol
wow... people are trying to make you not buy it.. when its a super good deal since it includes 4 games extra controller... lolz
