So i have a seperate drive for xp, and another drive for vista
and than another drive with nothing in it

i was wonder how i can get them to beable to share software between each other.

eg. i installed photoshop on xp, but when i go to vista try run the program, it wont let me, said something about permissions.
do i have it install it two times??

or is there someway to tweak this?

hmmm ok i get that you have dual boot... why dont you try this. boot up to either vista or xp and install photoshop on the nothing partition... then when your on either OS you can still run photoshop. isnt that what that partition is for? programs and stuff?....

install the photoshop on the empty hard drive that you have that way both OS's can look at it. permissions might be an issue but if you create user accounts on both systems that are identical that you won't have to worry about it.

You might in the end thought run into a registry files missing issue...

i'd say scrap all of the vista and just keep the xp...vista sucks...

you can use thin install, and make your application portable, so both OS will be able to run it

Yes I think that if you install PS on the 3rd drive, it can be used by both OS.

Make sure you have admin access though

  7. Lol you should just say F*CK it and get Windows XP Ultimate by Johnny, its a beast... ! look it up hahaha

and just dual boot that lol

just put it on the third hdd cos that will save space rather than putting it on both the hdd with the os on. also, what is the point of having both xp and vista? surely one is just enough. they aren't that different tbh.
