When I was in Vietnam in 1997-1999 I remember seeing a drama about a girl who learn shogi from this old guy and became a pro? I don't remember that well, and I have no idea that it is in fact a japanese drama. The whole drama as I remember revolving around the girl playing shogi and become better, and compete in tournament. I saw hachi-one diver, and was reminded of this. Anybody knows about this drama? One scene from the earliest episode was that the old guy play in the subway/train? and the girl watched him play.
