    Too bad they don't have a video simulation on what is going to happen when human is gone for good. I think it would make a great film :p

    I loved how Alan Weisman used the hypothetical situation of "when human is gone" as a premise of his book: We are so uncertain about our future with all the social, political and environmental problems right now that we cannot see straight without interferences or potential threats. I found it oddly comforting that life on Earth would indeed strive even without human intervention.

    I mean, wouldn't it be really sad if all or most living organisms vanish along with humans? The Earth would be so un-lively... -mellow

    This is one aspect that ive never thought of. Now that he mentions about it, it is indeed a very interesting notion. Back to basic.
