you know how in movies there are the "cheerleads" group, the "jocks" group, the "nerds" group, the "drama" group etc? well i was just wondering, what kind of cliques does/did your highschool have? i don't wanna sound like i find everything in life stereotypical, but there are some that i just can't ignore! at my school, there are a variety of differnet cliques. (please please PLEASE do not be offended by anything in this) Hongers - those from Hong Kong who speak Cantonese with one another all the time, wears HK styled clothes, etc. Kappa dudes - Italian people who wear Kappa and those Gucci bags. Korean gangstas - those from Korea and speak Korean with one another all the time, and go outside to smoke every nutrition break/lunch. and they get into fights some times. Taiwanese (or Twaners) - similar to the Hongers but from Taiwan, of course. TNA sluts - those who wear the spandex tights every single day and have their hair all dyed blonde when it's naturally black/brown (NOT that i'm saying all people who wear TNA are sluts.. there are a LOT of TNA branded clothes that look great.) Asian A/X gangstas - the Asian guys who wear Armani Exchange, tight pants, and Northface jackets who get into fights ALL the time. popular kids - the kids all teachers love (for they chat with them and make them feel like 'one of us'), who wear nice clothes 'nerds' (for the lack of a better word) - now i don't mean those who are above-average in intelligence. i mean those who play Yu-Gi-Oh at lunch and annoy the hell out of the rest of us. punks - the kids who like to be 'different' in everything. for example, there's this one girl who shaved the sides of her head and had a pink/purple/blue mohawk about 2 feet long. wow i sound like a major biotch right now. >< i personally am not in any of those cliques. i have friends who are Hongers, Twaners, A/X gangstas... and most who are just like me, not belonging to any of those groups. =]
nope the Koreans hang out in a seperate little group.. and they definitely do NOT wear the same close as the Asian A/X people. the Taiwanese people in my school don't usually get into fights and don't wear tight clothes either.

A/X is Armani Exchange. as for the Chinese/Viet gangsters, the ones at my school are usually the Asian A/X gangstas. there aren't many black people or goths in my school... as for rockers.. hmmm there are punks? i shall add them on now.

yeah guys wearing tight A/X shirts isn't very pretty. it's slowly fading away though. before it was allll about the North Face puffy jackets, and then Armani Exchange,... who knows what's next?
hm...we dont usually have those cliques..i mean we're a pretty multi-cultural school. but i noticed this year, we got a lot more cockasians joining our school (marshmellow we call them..for some unknown reason) and well..they're pretty much the outcasts. ANDD we have uniforms..unless civies days....>.<
hahah well everything on your list sounds familiar to me except this. Maybe it's different because I'm in college, but at my school....the guys who wear A/X or any brandname clothing of the sort usually try to stay away from getting into fights. They are afraid it will ruin their clothing. -lol Damn pretty boys...

haha, for some reason, ppl wearing Abercrombie and beating ppl up reminds me a whole lot of The OC. but seriously, imagine Asian guys wearing A/X shirts 2 sizes too small, tightish pants that're kinda high up, with Nike shoes. i guess it is kinda silly, them being gangstas. xD
