Pop star Selina Ren is finally home after almost 90 days in hospital. At a news conference the S.H.E. singer had trouble walking but showed that she has made a lot of progress since an on-set mishap in China. Helping her along is her recording company, which plans to file a lawsuit against those responsible for the accident. Taiwanese pop star Selina Jen spent 89 days in hospital recovering from burns she suffered while shooting a soap opera in Shanghai. Her legs were injured the most, and she had trouble walking because of a loss of muscle mass. Selina Jen Pop Star "Thank you, everyone. Sorry for making all of you worry. Today I can finally go home." Selina suffered burns to 54 percent of her body, 41 percent of which were third-degree. The burns affected her face and hands, with her two feet being burned the worst. When she entered hospital her life was in danger, but after going through emergency care, having her wounds cleaned and undergoing three courses of skin graft therapy, her condition finally stabilized. Selina’s Father She had severe burns on 41 percent of her body. The only way I can describe the burns on her two legs is to compare them to the meat dress Lady Gaga wore. Nobody who saw her legs was able to control his or her emotions, with some driven to tears. A team of 15 doctors from 10 departments at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital worked to care for Selina. She will need long-term clinical care and rehabilitation, trauma therapy and cosmetic surgery and therapy. For now we’ve arranged for her to come back to the hospital once a week. We’ll see how everything goes and modify the schedule from there. For the next year she’ll need to make regular visits back to the hospital. Despite the severity of her injuries, the Chinese production team for the soap opera didn’t make a trip to visit Selina while she was in hospital. Her recording company has decided to launch a lawsuit in China. The recording company says that it will see the lawsuit through to the end and help the singer secure her rights to make sure justice is served. She is the strongest Selina I have ever see. I hope she will put all her patience to recover her condition. But what about the guy who also got burnt at the scene? No news about him? Geezz..actually I dont even remember his name lol poor dude.
