The 37-year-old actor turned down an offer to appear at a Buddhist function to eat hot pot with 24-year-old Katy Kung (龔嘉欣). On the evening of Mid-Autumn Festival, which fell on September 9, the pair was spotted at a hot pot restaurant with good friends Matt Yeung (楊明), Jason Chan (陳智燊), and his girlfriend Sarah Song (宋熙年). Katy was also heard calling Ruco “Pang Pang”, an affectionate nickname. Upon seeing the paparazzi, Ruco and Katy immediately looked grim. According to the reports, Ruco was furious and scolded the waiters for letting the reporters in. He quickly left the restaurant with Katy before finishing his meal.
