Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) and Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣) are netizens’ choice for TV King and Queen, according to the results from a poll conducted by Hong Kong media outlet Oriental Daily. The Facebook and mobile app poll, which went on for two weeks, asked netizens to choose their favorite artistes from this year’s best actor and actress nominees. According to Oriental Daily, a total of 27,840 votes were collected during the 12-day voting period. Each nominee also had a video profile introducing his or her work, and the total views for these videos totaled 184,207 views. Netizens’ Choice for TV Queen: Linda Chung First place for TV Queen went to Linda Chung, who collected 6,285 likes in 12 days. Her profile video also exceeded 81,000 views, more than any other artist. Linda expressed that she is very happy to know that she is well-liked among netizens, exclaiming that their support gives her a lot of encouragement. “Netizens are important, especially in this day and age. I am so happy to have their support! I will continue to work hard. Hopefully there will be good results this year, but even if I don’t win, I know there are many fans out there who still support me. I’m very thankful!” Second place went to Nancy Wu (胡定欣), who obtained 2,714 likes. She said, “I’m very happy to know that I got second place. Thank you for supporting me!” Alice Chan won third place, receiving 843 likes. “Very happy!” she said. “When [Lord of Shanghai] was still airing, many people came up to me and said I did really well in the drama. I think one reason why Ruco got so much votes was because CoD wasn't exactly a great series and he basically ran with his character. Like, that was HIS series to shine and he ran with it. He did such an amazing job that I thought the other characters really didn't matter. The three guys in Lords of ShangHai had competition amongst themselves...that series is just well rounded and surrounded by strong actors. Linda on the other hand...I still have no idea how any of her past characters are remotely good. Still don't get why she will get votes over Nancy, or Krystal
