Despite the Lunar New Year holiday, Damian Lau (劉松仁) had to film TVB drama, Prominent Family <名媛望族>. Despite being accompanied by “5 wives” on set, Damien did not feel better. Producer Chong Wai Kin (莊偉健) especially prepared a sweet lotus seed and lily bud dish for the cast and crew; Idy Chan (陳玉蓮) and Tavia Yeung (楊怡) fully enjoyed the dessert. After Catch Me Now <原來愛上賊>, Idy Chan and Damian Lau resumed their partnership in Prominent Family, in which Idy portrayed Damien’s second wife. Due to the complex character, Idy needed to warm up initially for the role; however, she became more immersed in her performance recently. Even Damien felt that Idy’s interpretation lent a unique temperament to her character. Damien’s “fourth wife,” Tavia Yang, wrapped up filming at 3 AM last night. Despite the late hour, Tavia and Idy ate the sweet lotus seed dessert at the studio and got along well together [despite their characters' rivalry]. Tavia took the opportunity to learn acting tips from Idy. Filming an outdoor scene on that day, Ron Ng (吳卓羲) filmed a scene in which he suffered a bloody blow to his head. In Prominent Family, Ron harbored a crush against Rebecca Zhu (朱晨麗), who married Kenneth Ma (馬國明). Ron was very excitable while filming the scene. Although the bottle was made of sugar crystals, it was still painful to hit the bottle against his forehead. Ron appeared to have been practicing ”iron head skills” as the blow against his head had no impact on him. Producer Chong praised Ron for his endurance skills, “Ron is great! He has a lot of heart. It is quite painful to have a bottle hit against one’s forehead…but it is okay for a young man to suffer a bit!” Creds: Oriental Daily/Jstars
The bottle smashing can't be as bad as the one in Shaolin Soccer lol (when Stephen Chow plays the Guitar with that man). It goes something like "shill lum jork kow hooo yeahhh, jun hoo yeahhh....Gum gong toiii..[verse]...bottle flies against head" Tavia look very awkward in that attire. She has more of a modern look hence is not that suitable for this role (although she done well in Beyond the Realm of Conscience)..
