"There is nothing magical about dinner but it comes at the end of the day when you are winding down and it is a nice time for people to come together,"

    So true....
That is what i miss the most after moving out....dinners with family...i used to eat with them like almost everyday!
just sit down have a nice meal and a nice chat about everyones day....

  3. well. one thing this study did not prove: what happens when a child tries to eat as fast as he/she can, so he/she can rush to the computer to play/do/whatever on the computer?

it does NOT account for computer addiction. and i have a case scenario. granted its not legit, considering there isnt a random and controlled group to make a legit conclusion, but im sure the theory is legit.

Well, I don't know about other cultures, but some Chinese/Asian families can be quite strict about the dinner table etiquette...

Thats an interesting correlation research. Maybe the government should make it a law for children to eat with their parents. -evil
