Retainers suck! I have to take this damn thing out every time I eat and it smells like shit. And it makes my mouth so damn dry. Can't wait till I don't have to wear it during the day.....
i heard after like a little bit, you'll have to only wear it at night? depending i guess on how bad ur teeth were, and i guess you should always explore as many options as you want if you're uncomfortable with the current situations. i think both, the clear/wire is the same, in effectiveness, it's just that the clear ones you are better for looks? hahaiono
Suppose to be able to close you mouth with it on. But you only have to wear it at night. Didn't the dentist say why you can't have the wire one for the top?
I wore them before, u get use to it after a while, actually...its not tht bad for me compared to braces tht i have right now.....ughh... and for me, at first i had to wear both day and night, but later, only night...so yeah, but thts only for me.
retainers suck they make you talk wierd and it stinks having to take it out just to eat. It kinda gives you limitation
u can always choose not to wear it and have crappy and distorted teeth =) no pain no gain, its ur choice that u want to pretty teeth...make sure u keep to it, else its big waste of $$ wen ur teeth move by not wearing ur retainers!! (thats from personal experience lol)
