I've only listened to cantonese artists from Hong Kong, and there really isn't any thats exceptional. I was hoping maybe someone here can recommend me some artists that sing cantonese songs. I'll listen to both female artists and male artists. THANK YOU~
hmm... tough luck with looking for cantonese artists that aren't based in hong kong. personally I listen to these: Males: Eason Chan, Leo Ku, Pakho Chau, Alex Fong, sometimes Justin Lo... Females: Kay Tse, Joey Yung, Stephanie Cheng... But they're all based in HK so i'm not sure what suits your taste.
Try William Chan...not the best singer but his tunes are catchy and he's quite a good dancer. something different i suppose. check out his latest song on youtube. here's the link:
my fvr is joey yung, her voice is damn good and i saw her in person, she is verrry friendly and humble. so i would strongly recommend her to you. her music is ICHIIBAN !!!!
forgot HK! try out Jane Zhang...great range! or Faye Wong...amazing voice! her voice is her instrument!
I've also recently started listening to cantonese songs. I'm pure white wash ahahhaa But now i sing canto songs PLUS my canto is slightly improving.... I like Miriam Yeung! She's pretty good and Kay Tse and Janice and my cousin gave me a couple from Sherman and GEM!
