He should just come forward and admit whatever before the sex vid leaks out online .. at least by then, there's no surprises anymore and less (not none) will chase after him. Frankly, Ray Lam is popularity can't beat that of Edison Chen. Edison is in the film industry; not those family series one so his exposure is more global compares to Ray so the repercussion from such scandal wouldn't be that bad.
