CCTV held a a large scale concert to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong handover, entitled, 「慶祝香港特區回歸十周年之2007《同一首歌》大型演唱會」. The concert series ended yesterday, featuring numerous artists from Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan, such as: Liza Wang, George Lam Chi Cheung, Alec Su Yau Pang, Denise Ho, Gigi Leung Wing Kei, Kenny Chung Chun To, Athena Chu Yan, Wong Hiu Ming, Lui Fong, Andy Hui Chi On etc. TVB artists, Raymond Lam Fung, Shirley Yeung Si Kei, Bernice Liu, Tracy Ip etc. were also present. She commented that since the handover, 2007 was the best year thus far in terms of policy and civil rights. She noted that the current state was not easily established and should be cherished. Athena Chu sang a song entitled 《潛意識》. CCTV allowed her to select her own song. Athena chose this title to balance the numerous songs that focused on China instead. Raymond was quite moved by the 10th anniversary of the handover. In the past, he did not deeply understand the culture in mainland.
