In order to promote and film, artists are forced to make hotels their 'home'. They step onto foreign land so the chances of them meeting strange things are high. Leo Ku, who recently released a mandarin album went to Taiwan to promote. However, his hairstylist meet the 'good friends' and immediately requested to switch rooms. Unfortunately, there was no rooms available and so had to share a room with Leo. Although the hairstylist did not see the actual ghost, but heard footsteps and felt that there was somebody in the room. He did not sleep the entire night and asked somebody to come in to see if there was anything 'unclean' in the room. He was advised to cut his hair as to get rid of the bad luck. When Leo heard about this, he jokingly said, "When you go back tonight, there might be somebody in the closet," scaring the entire crew. However, Leo was generous enough to add another bed to his room as to give the hairstylist a good night sleep. "Princess of Cute" Rainie Yang had a ghost 'living' within her. (It's an expression in Chinese when a person does something wierd.) During the filming of an emotional scene of 'Devil Beside You' with Mike He, she was smiling sweetly. However, on the screen, her eyes were completely different and others felt as though they were two different people. The director did not understand, but did not change anything, thinking that it was the 'good friends' that came. He yelled the "San Zi Jing" to scare off the other to let Rainie recover. (I believe the San Zi Jing is some prayer meant to ward off ghosts.) After the celebration dinner, the director told her to go pray. But when she thought of it again, she said she did not feel anything at that time. Later, Rainie arrived at Beijing for a performance, she once again met the good friends. The hairstylist who was living with her felt sick and told her that there was something wrong with the room. After she returned to Taiwan, Rainie was not feeling well and always felt tired. Yang Mama, who guessed that there might something around took her to the temple to pray and find an expert to deal with it. So now, Rainie always carry a 平安符 (lucky item to ward off bad things), to avoid them finding her again. Strange noises in the recording studio is also a nightmare of artists. Show Luo, who was recording one of his singles, heard somebody calling "Ah Xiang" (Luo Zi Xiang) or laughing loudly in the headphones. He asked the producer and the 錄音師 (person who does the recording) but nobody heard anything. It was rumored that such things meant that the album would have good sales, so Show Luo was very happy and said, "Well I didn't do anything bad, so I don't need to be scared!" At the same time, Jolin Tsai who is always living in foreign places, believes in the saying, "Rather believe than not". When she entered the hotel, she did not forget to first knock on the door, ring the doorbell, and say "Sorry to disturb you,". She also does not watch horror films to avoid scarring herself.
