Wednesday December 12, 2007 Hong Kong ATV series Fire Butterfly <火蝴蝶> held a blessing ceremony today to mark the start of studio filming and cast members attending included Rain Li (李彩華), Michael Tong (唐文龍), Cherie Chan (陳少霞) and Winnie Shum (沈穎婷). In the series, Rain and Michael will play a married couple and his former girlfriend Cherie will be playing his elder sister. Happily posing with his old flame for the reporters, Michael was asked if there was a chance of them getting back together. When she heard this, Cherie immediately said that there was no chance and moved away quickly. Rain said that she has already given away her first TV screen kiss to Michael in a scene that was shot in on the harbourfront. She revealed that they became the tourist attraction of the day as many people crowded around to watch them filming and this made her very embarrassed. Michael complimented her, saying that she is a natural actress and only needs to read the script once to grasp the scene. Cherie revealed that it has been nine years since she last saw Michael, but she has been keeping up with the occasion report on his progress. She added that he is a very caring person and this can often lead to misunderstanding. Winnie's contract with TVB has ended and she has signed with a new manager. This role with ATV was arranged through her manager and she said that although the company is smaller, she feels she will find more opportunities with them and a greater scope for development. Asked if she is worried about not being able to return to TVB in the future, she said that she is not worried because many artistes move around a lot. credits: batgwa.
