Well it's not really racism but usually when I go to a job interview, people are surprised and want to make sure that I am really the person they should meet. They can't believe that I have a "caucasian" name, that must be it.
^lol whatz ur name? i remember when i was 10 my classmate called me a ----- but i didnt knoe what it meant at datt time =/
oh yeah well one time this white dude was like all thinking he was big and smart and he goes to me "Shut up u spic" and i was like ... "ok your pakky?!?!?" hahahaha thats kind of an inside joke for anyone who knows me >,<
lol heres a hint he called me a spic Oo then u realise i called him a pakky right... and he's white....
I've never really encountered a racist incident. There was only a time where a black guy started doing that "ching chong chang" crap to me. Dumbass.
Once, I was parked on the street & this van double parked beside my car because he was moving into the house at which I'd parked in front of. When I got back to my car, I noticed that his door was on my fender...so, I closed his door and noticed that paint had come off of my fender as a result. After I did that, he saw that I was closing his door, so he accused me of stealing stuff from his van. Anyway, he started throwing racial slurs at me, telling me to go back to work @ the rice plantation, etc. As I didn't want to sink to his level, I just continued to argue that he slammed his door on my car & took off paint & I didn't steal jack from his van. Meanwhile, during our argument, quite a few people started gathering around us. So I told him that if he doesn't leave me alone, I'd have no problem calling the cops on him. Of course he chickened out, and backed off.
Bonehead f**cking nazis trying to mess up some anti-racists at our convention in Chicago, IL. They were dumb as shit and and two got chased and beatdown. What idiots! We are trying to make peace amongst other races, cultures, and ethnicities. They just don't get it.
Yes, it happens quite alot to me because where I go to school is all white rednecks, so when you're the lone asian... you get stared down.... Well, there's a few other asians, but they've been white-washed. I just don't care, because I know that they're just sheltered people who've never stepped outside their own little community. I am proud of being Chinese, and that's all that matters
Just forget it unless you really can do something with it without getting into trouble. Sometimes things happen even when we really hate it but this is reality so good luck and forget things that make you fell unhappy ok.
well, everytime I fly on certain airlines, there's always this special treatment bring given to westerners, while asians are being treated like second-class passengers...well, my way of handling them is to request the company not the put me on that airline in future
My entire was sitting together on a plane in the exit row and a flight attendant came up and asked everyone if they understood what was required of us and we all say yes, nod, etc (it was obvious we were a family), then she turned to my mom and asked "do you speak english?". I think a lot of it these days isn't really intentional, its just pure ignorance. That doesn't make it excusable, but its just eh, people will be people.
all the time, although its more subtle when u start working i was involved in a minor car accident -- i clipped this guys wing mirror (and no, this is not a stereotype that asians cant drive! -- and so we stopped to exchange insurance etc. well, this SOB was quite nice about it and then he said, "in this country, u're stupposed to give right of way if u have an obsticle in ur way".. note the "in this country" what a ****
It happened a lot to me before and it's lesser now. What I do is I usually have a heated argument with those idiots.
