Quick Time Codec???

ok well wen i open up winavi to try and convert some films onto my psp the quik time codec fing comes up
i tried finding it but the websites in google seems to take me to some dodgy site...
so just wondering does anyone knows where i would be able to get quik time codec so that i can convert films onto my psp?

well if u have quicktime player u should have the codec. alternatively i think k-lite codec pack has that codec. also, u tried the winavi site cos there might be a codec available there.

 

go on google and search for k-lite mega codecs. Not a big download ~ 15mb and a very useful package

 

err ok thanks and i do have quicktime player but dont know why i dont have the codec fing...

 

well are u able to play the quicktime files, if so then u do have the codec and then its quite strange that the winavi program doesn't detect it. perhaps reinstalling winavi might help.

 

yea my quick time works fine can play programs and all that..

 

I use quicktime alternative, and it seem to work fine.

 

quicktime alternative is the way to go. small app. better then quicktime. same goes for real player files. real alternative.

nope, its just an alternative way to play the files, basically its just codecs so that u can play the files on wmp. ye try getting that and then trying converting the file again.
