Fish Leong and boyfriend Tony have been in love for over a year. Recently she held a concert in Malaysia and as it also happened to be the day before her birthday, Tony proposed to her with a 1-carat diamond ring worth $800,000. The diva happily nodded in acceptance and at the Golden Melody Awards, they will walk the red carpet together in preparation for their wedding ceremony which will be held next year at the earliest. Brave, passionate Fish Leong never concealed her desire to marry. In 2007, introduced by her agent, she met wine expert Tony at a dinner function and because of their similar interests in red wine, they started dating soon after. Due to work, they spent more time apart than together, keeping in contact via text messages and MSN. Fish had to travel to different places to perform but Tony's love for her followed. In March this year, the couple went to Italy for a holiday and decided they were made for each other. Tony admires Fish as she is kind, filial and cares for her friends; he wanted to marry her long ago. He said, marriage requires courage and impulse. He has been carrying the diamond ring for a while now, waiting for the right opportunity to propose. On the evening of the 14th, the atmosphere was romantic and he got down on one knee to propose.
