So my school swim season is starting pretty soon, and I really need some kind of supplement for me, that's legal of course, that will get my muscles building on a lot i'm not much of a fan of protein shakes really, i was wondering if anyone has suggestions on what i should take.. any kind of steroids or protein things?
hmm Akademic knows alot about those stuff, my advice is Drink your milk and eat your veggies and at night sleep upsidedown so you'll grow taller.

Protien powder comes from milk. when they filter milk, it leaves a film which is high in protien. It is processed into powder for easy consumption. The principal behind protien is that you can easily add more protien in your body so that whatever training you do gives you better results since protien is used by the body to repair muscle tissue. After swim practise/weight training sessions.. take 1-2 scoops of whey protien with Water
eat bean and rice together, the two are compliment, so the body get all 20 essential amino acid to build any protein
personally, i don't/won't use them because it really makes no difference if you ask me. a bunch of my friends use it and i've probably surpassed them all just by eating natural foods and going to the gym every day. it's more about determination than it is about what you consume. if you really want to get bigger/better, you'll get bigger/better. =D
