Fuck, i understand traditionalism, but saying that condoms and contraception are worse than a life threatening disease like AIDS is absolutely ridiculous. The catholic church's point of view should count for nothing in a case like this. Acting high and mighty and making sweeping statements like, "Don't have sex" is bullshit. Its not even logical... what can the catholic church even do to promote abstinence in Africa? Have a priest for every man and woman in on the continent and make sure they step in and interrupt any attempt at coitus? Give the people condoms, all it takes is a small piece of rubber to control an epidemic which could destroy this country, not a meaningless platitude.

i dont see a problem with using a condom, i used to ask how they did it back in the day and some girl said there is a way around it to avoid having a 100 children without condoms etc which is good cus i dont intend in using them. sex only when you want kids is NOT happening.

I don't know guys, I can't say I don't agree with the Pope on this one... Look at it this way, if they gonna fuck with someone who have aids, I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time that they would get aids. It's not like a condom is gonna prevent aids 100%, hell, I don't even believe they'll use condom 100% even if you teach them or give them like 10,000 condoms.
lol.... there are "methods" like counting days before n after cycle... but thats not 100% safe too... otherwise u should get sterilized or ask her to to take anti concep. pills... which is not very good for her body either.... why wouldnt u use condom? whats wrong abt it lol....is it a christian thing?

If you're living in an ideal world maybe. I agree with the concept, but saying 'Hey you, dont have sex' doesn't work in the real world. Empty words can't overcome human nature. Its true that condoms are only a preventative measure, but atleast its something.
