I went to the airport a few days ago to spend a few hours plane spotting. Just felt like sharing the photos with fellow aviation enthusiasts out there And a day plane spotting without snapping a few shots of a Cathay Pacific aircraft wouldn't be a day of plane spotting...so here they are!
wow... so you sit there for hours and just take pictures of planes? you're lucky you aren't middle eastern, you'd be in jail as we speak ^_^. I'm guessing you're aspiring towards becoming a pilot?
Security drove past and just asked us not to be right up against the fence. But yeah, it's fine, it's a well known spot
lol nice, see planes everyday now at work XD i think security at sydney airport needs to be stricter....couple days ago some guy died cause bunch of bikeys came and beat him up using those post things >.> and apparently the security cant find the security tapes,,,,,, But anyways i got photos from the avalon air show too, so maybe ill post them wen i have time Qantas brought the A380 to the show, so big
That is the best spot for plane lovers to watch from. next time i'll bring my own little chair up there and wait for the airbus.
Hey very nice picture! Can i ask what is the process to become a pilot?! Like i mean even where to start?
You can take up a Trial Instructional Flight at your local airport, and then if you're interested go into their training course and build up your hours and earn your licences. Once you have a CPL (commercial Pilot's Licence) you can start earning money as a professional pilot. If you're interested in Airlines, then you need to earn an ATPL (air transport pilots licence) and earn a lot of hours before you can apply. Another route is to go for a cadetship with an airline such as QANTAS, Etihad or Cathay Pacific or Singapore, etc.
And I went again today...but with a new camera. The Panasonic FZ28 with 18x optical zoom =D Note to Airbus lovers: You'll find a nice surprise awaiting you near the bottom =]
dude ... you better watch out man. they might think you are a terrorist doing 'research' - get arrested under national security. haha ...
The view of planes taking off is such a beautiful site. It is also hard to witness such lovely sites living in the heart of urban areas
